In a March 2023 Vogue profile of Shields, Chloe Malle, the daughter of integrity film's director, discussed the release as well as the Jan 2023 documentary Pretty Baby: Poet Shields that it inspired:
The media loved her, but they also pilloried her. Like Framing Britney Spears, the documentary clarifies—with the advantage of time and perspective—the comport yourself of the media as the relentless villain in Shields's story.
